Likes on songs are not being saved. I didn’t have any, so in the last update I started giving hearts to songs. After about 20, I tried the option “shuffle favorites” and it didn’t play anything. I went back to the songs I had given hearts to and they didn’t have them anymore. I tried a few more times and the heart kept going back to white.

For example, regular music and Christmas music are in separate libraries. Because who wants year round Christmas music?In December you may want to throw Christmas music into the mix. Toggle both the regular and Christmas libraries and you have the best of both worlds.

HI,this is happening: I have two libraries, one with my songs. and one with my child’s songs. When my iPhone is locked and I click on next song, the next song will be exclusively be a children’s song. This behavior doesn’t heal on unlock (“next song” not from my library but from my child’s) only when I manually click on a song from my library. I can gladly provide more info if necessary. btw: not sure where to submit a bug so I used this form.

The app only shows the main artist on the songs, when multiple artists are tagged. iOS version 26.3. iPhone 16 Pro. Finer Player version 1.36.0 On my device, the player has a tendency to skip tracks when playing albums (mp3). I read through the other feedback posts to see if others have experienced this, but didn’t see anything similar.

There is a wonderful player popup i can bring up and down in iOS but is missing in iPadOS. There is no scrubbing so far and possibility to „heart“ a song directly as in iOS isn‘t it?

With features like Instant Mix, it’s common to end up with a long and well-curated queue that you may want to revisit later.It would be very useful to have the ability to take the entire current queue and:<ul><li>Save it as a new playlist, or</li><li>Append it to an existing playlist.</li></ul>While it is currently possible to add individual tracks from the queue to a playlist, doing so one song at a time can be tedious and time-consuming for longer queues. A bulk “Save Queue to Playlist” option would make this workflow significantly more efficient and user-friendly.

When launching CarPlay, the app frequently prompts me to open the app on my phone in order to connect to the Jellyfin server. I don’t need to re-enter credentials, as they are already saved — however, CarPlay seems unable to use them unless the main app has been opened first.It would greatly improve the CarPlay experience if the app could automatically use the stored Jellyfin server credentials, even when the iPhone app has not been manually launched beforehand.Allowing CarPlay to authenticate seamlessly in the background would make the startup experience much smoother and more consistent.

It would be very useful for the desktop app to include a mini player or desktop widget that allows quick access to playback controls and currently playing information.Ideally, this could provide:<ul><li>A compact view showing the current track, artist, and artwork</li><li>Quick controls (play/pause, next, previous)</li><li>Optional features such as displaying lyrics (similar to the mini player experience in iTunes)</li></ul>This would allow users to monitor and control playback without needing to keep the full app window open or in focus, improving multitasking and overall usability on desktop platforms.

Hi,First of all it is a great App. If I disable transcoding it is Lossless Audio if I has stored flac on Server right?Why is there no option to download without transcoding? Would be nice to download flac for offline use

I like to play just one specific song from an album. Jellyfin allows this from the context menu of a song („Play“). I would love an option in the long press menu on a song to play only this song and not queue a playlist.

Add a feature that will automatically download all songs/albums that are favorited, and automatically download songs as they are added to that list. Similar to the feature in the “Finamp” app. (Also please allow us to manually download our “favorites” playlist)

It would greatly improve the user experience if the app restored the previous playback state upon relaunch.Specifically, when reopening the app, it should:<ul><li>Restore the previous playback queue (e.g., playlist, album, or Instant Mix).</li><li>Resume playback at the exact position within the track where the app was last closed.</li><li>Remember the previously selected audio output device.</li><li>Restore the last set volume level for that output.</li></ul>This would allow users to seamlessly continue listening without having to rebuild their queue or manually reconfigure playback settings each time the app is launched.

Can we have all song tab? It’s very functional. And maybe the like option next to the song name? I think it’s how Apple Music does. That would make really easy to like all my fav songs with my new library
