Alphabetical quick scroll index

It would be very helpful to have a fast alphabetical navigation index across the various tabs of the application. The idea would be to display an alphabetical index along the right side of the screen, similar to what the native iOS Contacts app offers, allowing users to quickly jump to any letter with a single tap or by sliding their finger.
