offline mode enhancements

Feature Request

lately I’ve been using the offline mode more frequently (on mac) and i’ve noticed that quite a lot of features are missing. of course i didn't expect the same experience as in the online version (which already is the best music player for mac!), but i guess some things like a simple search function, songs/albums/artists/playlists categories could technically be accessible even without a connection to the server?

currently there’s only the downloads category, the album artworks of the downloaded songs and a shuffle button. would be awesome if a few of the main features were also available in offline mode :)

Came here to say the same thing for CarPlay. Love the app and wonderful that is has CarPlay capability but we really need a proper library setup for downloaded music.

Came here to say this. Right now offline mode is not worth using. You cannot even access your playlists. I wished it was more like offline mode of Apple Music or other music apps. One can only hope.

just a tip which i found out a little too late: use playlists to organize which songs you want to download. you can use whatever Jellyfin client has the best playlist manager and it will sync the list with Finer and all other clients. this way you can circumvent the restrictions of Finer’s UI and still add all the songs you want to its offline mode
