Likes not sticking

Likes on songs are not being saved. I didn’t have any, so in the last update I started giving hearts to songs. After about 20, I tried the option “shuffle favorites” and it didn’t play anything. I went back to the songs I had given hearts to and they didn’t have them anymore. I tried a few more times and the heart kept going back to white.

    For those who are watching this ticket, Finally Jellyfin 10.11.10 fixed the cache issue at server side, you will no longer see “favorite not sticking” any more after upgrading Jellyfin server.

    Hi, this is actually a bug for Jellyfin 10.11.x, the github thread:

    https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/14981

    I myself is suffering from it as well, hope they will have the bugfix deployed soon.

      TL;DR: The favorite action itself works. It doesn’t stick because the server returns cached (stale) data when the favorite request is triggered.
