Feature Request: Siri & Shortcuts Integration

Please consider adding native Siri and Apple Shortcuts integration to Finer.

It would be great if users could control music playback through Siri, for example:

  • “Hey Siri, play my playlist on Finer.”

  • “Hey Siri, play [song/album/artist].”

  • “Hey Siri, pause Finer.”

  • “Hey Siri, skip this song.”

  • “Hey Siri, play my favorites.”

Ideally, Finer could expose playback actions and playlist-related actions through the iOS Shortcuts app as well, allowing users to create custom automations and Siri commands.

Since Finer is primarily a music-focused client, native Siri and Shortcuts support would make it feel much more integrated with the Apple ecosystem.

    Sorry, I didn’t notice that there was already a request for Shortcuts support.

    It would be great if Finer could use native App Intents integration, so that the same actions are available through both Apple Shortcuts and Siri.

    For example, I’d love to be able to ask Siri directly:

    “Hey Siri, play xxx with finer.”

    It would be great if Siri could also play a specific album, artist, or playlist, as well as control playback (pause, resume, skip, etc.).
